That's why we proudly run Fall, Winter, and Spring Flag Football Seasons in Jacksonville, NC, giving kids ages 4-17 an opportunity to stay active, build character and confidence, and create friendships throughout the year.
In collaboration with Onslow County Parks and Recreation—an official NFL FLAG partner—Carolina Blitz Sports Corporation (CBSC) proudly leads the youth flag football program, delivering inclusive, high-quality sports experiences that build character and strengthen communities throughout North Carolina.

Who Can Play?
We believe no child should sit out because of finances. Through scholarships, sibling discounts, and sponsorship support, we make sure every child in Jacksonville and surrounding towns has a chance to play. Carolina Blitz Flag Football is open to:

Fall Flag Football Season - Jacksonville, NC >

Game Days: Saturdays only
Kick off the school year with the excitement of Fall Flag Football in Jacksonville, NC! Boys and girls ages 4-17 of all skill levels are invited to join us for a season of fun, teamwork, and community. Each fall season includes opening day, six regular games, and a championship event, all built around safe, non-contact play.
Whether your child is brand new to football or already has experience, they’ll learn new skills, make friends, and build confidence in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.
Winter Flag Football Season - Jacksonville, NC
Season Dates: December 13th, 2025 - February 7th, 2026
Game Days: Saturdays only

Open to boys and girls ages 4-17, this season is the perfect way to stay active, build skills, and connect with the community even when the weather cools down. Players enjoy equal playtime, certified coaches, and safe non-contact games designed for fun and growth.

2026 Spring Youth Flag Football Season - Jacksonville, NC
Season Dates: April 4th, 2026, to May 16th, 2026
Game Days: Saturdays only
Kick off the new year with the Spring 2026 Youth Flag Football Season in Jacksonville, NC! Running from April 4, 2026, to May 16, 2026, this season offers boys and girls ages 4-17 the chance to play in a safe, fun, and community-focused program. Players are grouped by age and grade, ensuring fair matchups and providing ample opportunities for learning, growth, and competition.
Spring is the perfect time to get outside, build friendships, and enjoy exciting Saturday game days with family and friends cheering on from the sidelines.

6U Age 4-6 | 9:00 AM Practice 9:30 AM Game Start | 30-minute Practice 2 - 25 minute halves |
8U Age 7-8 | 10:30 AM Practice 11:00 AM Game Start | 30 minute Practice 2 - 30 minute halves |

Each team kicks off the season with Opening Day, plays five regular games, and wraps up with the Championship. Every player gets to grow, compete, and enjoy the excitement of the game!
Game Format & Play

7v7 non-contact football (6v6 for Pee Wee)

Each game includes a short warm-up of (20-30 minutes) and two halves of fast-paced action.

Equal playtime for every participant - no one is left on the sidelines

Field size: 30 × 70 yards.
Basic Rule Highlights

Non-contact play: No tackling; players wear flag belts.

Passing only: Forward passes must cross the line of scrimmage.

7-second QB clock: Unless there's a handoff or lateral.

Rusher rule: One allowed, starting 7-10 yards back (must signal).
-
Interceptions: Worth 6 points (2 on extra points).
-
Dead ball: When the flag is pulled, the ball is out of bounds, or the ball hits the ground.
Awards: Trophies and medals for champions in every division.
Equipment Needed
Flag football is simple and budget-friendly. Here's what your child needs:

Cleats (plastic or rubber only— no metal).
