Refund and Cancellation Policy
Welcome to Carolina Blitz Flag Football! Thank you for your interest in this Refund and Cancellation Policy! At Carolina Blitz Flag Football, we understand that circumstances can change. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all participants. Please review the following guidelines carefully:
CANCELLATIONS BEFORE REGISTRATION CLOSES
If you choose to cancel your child's registration before the official registration closing date for the respective season (e.g., March 1st for Spring, August 1st for Fall).
A refund will be issued for the full registration fee, minus a $25 administrative processing fee. This fee covers the costs associated with initial registration processing and system allocation.
To initiate a cancellation and refund request, please contact us directly via email at info@carolinablitzflagfootball.com, stating your child's name, division, and the reason for cancellation.
CANCELLATIONS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES
Due to the extensive logistical planning, team formation, uniform orders, and field reservations that commence immediately after the registration deadline, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the official registration closing date.
This policy ensures that we can maintain balanced teams, secure necessary resources, and provide the best possible experience for all registered players without disruption.
SEASON CANCELLATION DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the highly unlikely event that an entire season (or a significant portion thereof) is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as widespread public health emergencies (e.g., COVID-19 related mandates), natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
If a season is cancelled by Carolina Blitz Flag Football, registered participants will be offered the following choices:

Option A: 90% Refund: Receive a refund equivalent to 90% of the original registration fee. The remaining 10% helps to cover non-recoverable operational costs incurred prior to the cancellation decision.

Option B: Future Season Credit: Opt for a full credit of the original registration fee to be applied towards a future Carolina Blitz Flag Football season. This credit will be valid for a specified period, typically for the next two consecutive seasons.
In such an event, we will communicate directly with all registered families via email with detailed instructions on how to select their preferred option.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Illness or Injury: While we sympathize with situations involving illness or injury, our standard refund policy applies. We encourage families to consider personal insurance if they are concerned about unforeseen medical circumstances impacting participation.
Voluntary Withdrawal: This policy covers voluntary withdrawals from the league. Any disciplinary actions resulting in removal from the league will not be eligible for a refund.
Processing Time: Approved refunds typically take 7-10 business days to process and appear on your statement, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
