A: Carolina Blitz Flag Football is the premier youth flag football league, dedicated to creating a fun, skill-building, and inclusive experience for boys and girls aged 4-17. Supported by USA Football, our non-contact recreational league welcomes players of all skill levels—no tryouts required! We focus on developing football fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, ensuring every player grows both on and off the field.

Get ready for the season!
Registration for our Spring Season opens on January 1st and closes on March 21st. The registration period for the Fall Season runs from May 1st to August 22nd. For the Winter Season, registration opens on Coming Soon and closes on November 30th.
Don't wait—secure your spot early! Late registrations are tiered, meaning that the earlier you sign up, the more you save. Keep in mind that leagues often fill up about a week before the deadline, so be sure to register ahead of time!

A: Games are held at select fields across North Carolina, including Onslow Pines Park in Jacksonville and Stump Sound Park in Sneads Ferry. Check our site for the latest information. Exact locations will be shared before the season starts.

A: Saturday is game day! Most games run between 9 AM to 5 PM, with each team playing one 60-minute game per week—except for the Pee Wee division, which plays 50-minute games. Each division follows a set schedule with short pre-game practices/warm-up and two halves of exciting play.
The regular season lasts seven weeks, packed with exciting match-ups and team growth. We also adjust the Spring schedule to accommodate holidays, ensuring players don’t miss out on the action!

A: Practices are typically once a week on a weeknight, with a 30-minute warm-up before games. Coaches might also schedule an extra optional practice. Your coach will share the exact schedule at the start of the season.

A: Our registration fee $85 for the Spring, Fall, and Winter seasons, making it easier to secure your spot! This fee covers a team jersey and all the fantastic benefits of being part of our league. Get ready to play, develop your skills, and have a great season!

A: Need to cancel your registration? If it's before the closing date, you'll receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee. After registration closes, refunds are unavailable. However, if the season is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants can choose between a 90% refund or a credit toward a future season, giving you flexibility and peace of mind!

A: Carolina Blitz Flag Football primarily follows 6v6 rules throughout the Spring, Fall, and Winter seasons. Key game play elements include forward and backward passes, hand offs behind the line, and a 7-second quarterback throw clock (with exceptions). Quarterback movement, blocking regulations, defensive rush strategies, interception scoring, and dead-ball scenarios all play a role in shaping the action on the field. Additionally, both offensive and defensive penalties help maintain fair competition. Get ready for fast-paced, dynamic play!

A: Absolutely! Every registered player receives a high-quality dri-fit jersey for maximum comfort and performance. To stay game-ready, players should bring a mouthguard, a protective headband (recommended), and rubber or plastic cleats, ensuring safety and agility on the field!

Parents can make buddy or coach requests during registration, and while we do our best to honor them, they’re not guaranteed. To keep teams fair and balanced, each team is limited to a maximum of three requests. No matter the lineup, every player gets the chance to build friendships and enjoy an incredible season!

A: All Carolina Blitz coaches complete USA Football certification and concussion awareness training. They pass a background check and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications, renewed every two years. Your child's safety and development are our top priorities!
