Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Upon successful registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with relevant program details. Carolina Blitz is an inclusive league. All registered players are placed on a team regardless of skill level, and everyone receives playing time. The applicable registration fee for each season, camp, or program will be clearly stated on the registration page. Registration fees typically include a full season of games/practices, an official Carolina Blitz dri-fit jersey, certified coaches and referees, access to well-maintained fields, and organized league management. Specific inclusions may vary by program (e.g., season vs. camp). A late registration fee (currently $25) may apply for registrations submitted after the stated deadline, accepted only if space permits. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Regular seasons typically run 5-9 weeks (Lil Ballerz: 6 weeks). Camp durations vary. Games are typically played on Saturdays between 11 AM and 5 PM. Each team plays one 60-minute game per week during the regular season. Teams generally have one practice per weeknight or a 30-minute practice session immediately before their game at the game field. Coaches may schedule optional extra practices at their discretion. Games are hosted at select, well-maintained grass fields in Jacksonville, NC, and other areas of North Carolina as needed. Specific field details will be provided prior to the season start. e. Rules: Carolina Blitz Flag Football primarily follows 6v6 flag football rules during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. Key rules are consistent with USA Football guidelines and will be communicated to coaches and players. Carolina Blitz prioritizes player safety. We emphasize a non-contact flag format. All players are required to wear a mouthguard. Soft-shell protective headgear is optional but recommended. All players, coaches, parents, and spectators are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. Disruptive, abusive, or unsportsmanlike conduct towards players, coaches, officials, or other families will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises and/or forfeiture of a player's participation without refund. Players are expected to follow coach instructions, respect teammates and opponents, and adhere to league rules. The use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products is strictly prohibited at all Carolina Blitz events and facilities. RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK Assumption of Risk: Participation in flag football activities involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, and other physical injuries. Carolina Blitz Flag Football Refund Policy for https://www.carolinablitzflagfootball.com/ Refund and Cancellation Policy Welcome to Carolina Blitz Flag Football! Thank you for your interest in this Refund and Cancellation Policy! At Carolina Blitz Flag Football, we understand that circumstances can change. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all participants. Please review the following guidelines carefully: CANCELLATIONS BEFORE REGISTRATION CLOSES If you choose to cancel your child's registration before the official registration closing date for the respective season (e.g., March 1st for Spring, August 1st for Fall). A refund will be issued for the full registration fee, minus a $25 administrative processing fee. This fee covers the costs associated with initial registration processing and system allocation. To initiate a cancellation and refund request, please contact us directly via email at info@carolinablitzflagfootball.com , stating your child's name, division, and the reason for cancellation. CANCELLATIONS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES Due to the extensive logistical planning, team formation, uniform orders, and field reservations that commence immediately after the registration deadline, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the official registration closing date. This policy ensures that we can maintain balanced teams, secure necessary resources, and provide the best possible experience for all registered players without disruption. SEASON CANCELLATION DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES In the highly unlikely event that an entire season (or a significant portion thereof) is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as widespread public health emergencies (e.g., COVID-19 related mandates), natural disasters, or other force majeure events. If a season is cancelled by Carolina Blitz Flag Football, registered participants will be offered the following choices: Option A: 90% Refund: Receive a refund equivalent to 90% of the original registration fee. The remaining 10% helps to cover non-recoverable operational costs incurred prior to the cancellation decision. Option B: Future Season Credit: Opt for a full credit of the original registration fee to be applied towards a future Carolina Blitz Flag Football season. This credit will be valid for a specified period, typically for the next two consecutive seasons. In such an event, we will communicate directly with all registered families via email with detailed instructions on how to select their preferred option. IMPORTANT NOTES Illness or Injury: While we sympathize with situations involving illness or injury, our standard refund policy applies. We encourage families to consider personal insurance if they are concerned about unforeseen medical circumstances impacting participation. Voluntary Withdrawal: This policy covers voluntary withdrawals from the league. Any disciplinary actions resulting in removal from the league will not be eligible for a refund. Processing Time: Approved refunds typically take 7-10 business days to process and appear on your statement, depending on your bank or credit card provider. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our refund and cancellation policy, which allows us to effectively manage the league and provide a high-quality experience for all our young athletes.
